South Carolina United FC has made a commitment to excellence in the development of all players that are a part of the club. In staying true to that commitment South Carolina United FC will help establish a path for all future student-athletes who wish to become a college soccer player. The thought and the process of becoming a student-athlete is both exciting and scary but can be made easier if you understand the ins and outs of the process.

The following information on this webpage is provided to players and parents as a basic guideline on how to engage in the recruiting process to play college soccer.

NCAA Regulations and Guidelines for Future College Athletes
The NCAA produces a very useful guide entitled The College Bound Student Athlete, that provides a great  information for players planning to play soccer at the collegiate level.  If you or your child is considering starting the recruiting process, you should read this manual first.
 
 
All prospective college athletes need to register with the NCAA Clearinghouse.  The main pages for the Clearinghouse can be found at this link to the site:   NCAA Clearinghouse.
