At Columbia United FC, we strive to provide high quality youth soccer programs at every level. Our mission is to enable every child, regardless of his or her socio-economic, ethnic or religious background, to play soccer at a level commensurate with his or her individual ability in a cost effective manner. With a membership of more than 4,600 players (and growing!), we are, indeed, achieving our vision of making our ultra-inclusive “All Youth…All Levels…All Soccer” player development model the most recognizable youth soccer brand in South Carolina.

Currently, we serve players ranging in age 3-19 who come from more than 150 area schools spread across 12 counties. These players participate in one of our five distinct soccer programs:

At Columbia United FC, we take pride in developing our own players from within. We create a genuine sense of club loyalty, an extreme pride in what it means to “wear the badge” and strive to help each player achieve success at his or her appropriate competition level. At the same time we maintain a club culture founded on serving others and giving back to our community through volunteerism, scholarship and community service. Such are just a few of the benchmark characteristics which help us define who we are and how we differ from other youth soccer programs available to you.

At Columbia United FC, we know who we are and what we value. And while our Junior Academy and Select teams have always won, and will continue to win, their fair share of SCYSA State Championship trophies, we are just as proud of our first time Special Needs players who just garnered up enough courage to play in her very first soccer match…. as we are in our first time U4 Recreational player who just made two beautiful shots (even if they were in the wrong goal!)…..as we are of our 57 former players who played inter-collegiate soccer this past fall……as we are our Select players who participate in our annual German youth soccer cultural exchange programs….. or our Olympic Development Program players who recently represented our club, our state and our country against junior national teams in Spain and Argentina.

All said, to each of our corporate sponsors, to our team sponsors and to our parents and players, on behalf of your Board of Directors, your entire Administrative Staff, your Soccer Leadership and your many soccer coaches, trainers and volunteers, I thank you for the confidence you have expressed in us and in turn in what we are doing to help unite children and families throughout your community through youth soccer. With over 1,100 players in our spring 2009 U4-U6 program alone, we definitely look forward to your continued confidence and support!
