A combined group of girls representing the three U11 teams won the Finalist Trophy in the U11 Red Bracket at the 10^th Annual James Island Soccer Festival on January 26-27, 2008.

A combined group of girls representing the three U11 teams won the Finalist Trophy in the U11 Red Bracket at the 10^th Annual James Island Soccer Festival. The U11 Girls got off to a slow start losing a close one to the eventual champion but recovered to win their next three games in convincing form.  The offense was spectacular getting off an amazing 80 shots on goal with 26 finding the back of the net. The 26 goals accumulated was a tournament high for all seventy teams that participated in the festival.  The defense and goalkeepers performed well allowing 6 goals with 3 one goal matches. 

Our girls went 3-1 dropping their first match to the Mt. Pleasant 96 Girls White 3-2 but went on to defeat James Island YSC U11 Girls 3-1, Lower Lexington Strikers U11 Girls 9-1, and Charleston United Silver Bullets U11 Girls 12-1.

With no practices and four scrimmages under their belts the girls represented the club in great fashion. Congratulations team and coaches on a great weekend!!!
