The accomplishments just keep coming in for former SCUFC Jr. Academy and Select player Savannah McCaskill. After being named SEC Freshman of the Year following a stellar rookie debut with the Lady Gamecocks this season, McCaskill was recently called up to the U.S. Women’s National team! McCaskill is now the second player called up to a U.S. Women’s National team that had her start in our South Carolina United FC Jr. Academy Program. Katie Cousins, a member of the U18 U.S. Women’s National team who now lives in Richmond, Va., plays for the Richmond Kickers, has signed with Tennessee and was most recently named the National Gatorade Player of the Year, also began developing her game in our South Carolina United FC Jr. Academy back in the day when her family lived here. Awesome job ladies! So, the question is - who will be next?
