Columbia United FC’s recreational soccer program is one of the largest recreational soccer programs in all of South Carolina. Each fall season (September-November) and each spring season (February-May), Columbia United FC has over 1,800 boys and girls participating on over 180 teams consisting of players ranging in age from 3 to 18 years of age! Typically, each team plays 8-10 regular season matches. In the Fall season, each team then has the opportunity to participate in the season ending Columbia United FC Recreation tournament. In the Spring, each team has the opportunity to participate in the optional March Madness Recreational Tournament hosted by Columbia United FC. For teams in the U-12 to U-18 age groups, teams will play in a club-wide division against Columbia United FC East and Columbia United FC West recreational teams and will have the opportunity to participate in the SCYSA American Cup.

Matches are primarily played at the Polo Road Soccer Complex or Ballentine Park, but some games are also held at North Springs Park, Summit Park Middle School, Caughman Soccer Fields, and other facilities. Several games each season will be "cross-over" games where teams from the East side (Polo Road) will play teams on the West side (Ballentine) at either location. Please remember to check our website for Current Field Status any time inclement weather exists. Fields will close if the conditions are wet and soggy.
