The South Carolina United FC Junior Academy is a competitive program for 8U to 12U players. SCUFC Junior Academy is designed for advanced recreational players that are serious about the game and ready for the next level of competition.

Each team will have a professionally licensed coach and will train at least twice a week. SCUFC coaches focus on individual player development using an age-specific curriculum and a positive and fun learning environment. Our coaches strive to develop competitive, confident, and technically-sound players. Our overall goal is for each player to reach their own potential and develop a real love of the game.

SCUFC Junior Academy participates in the PUMA United Development League (UDL) and/or South Carolina’s Youth Soccer Association (SCYSA), Challenge, PMSL, and Open Leagues. Each league offers age and skill appropriate competition. In addition to local league games, Junior Academy teams will also compete in 2 to 3 tournaments each season.

Because player development is a top priority, SCUFC offers many additional opportunities for our Junior Academy players to train through our Training Corps program. This includes summer and winter camps and weekly in-season training sessions.

JUNIOR ACADEMY

Competitive soccer at South Carolina United FC is designed for the highest skilled player who needs to develop and compete alongside players with equally high skill, ability, and commitment.  For players seeking to play on competitive teams in the U13-U19 age groups, South Carolina United FC will, as quality numbers permit, field as many as three or more competitive teams in each age group for both boys and girls.
